The Goodness Of JFM

The goodness of JesusFedMe (JFM) is not only seen in the food we place into the hands of the people we bless. It is also seen in the way we treat every person we meet. Our mission is built on love, grace, dignity, and the desire to show people that they matter.

We believe that every person deserves to be treated with kindness, whether we are able to give them something physically or not.

Sometimes we arrive in a community with food, but before long, everything we carried has been given away. Yet the people do not stop coming. There are still mothers, fathers, children, elderly people, and vulnerable families hoping that they too can receive a blessing. In those moments, we may not have another packet of food to give, but we can still give something valuable—love, attention, encouragement, and grace.

At JFM, we do not want anyone to feel rejected simply because the food has run out. We speak to them with kindness. We listen to their stories. We encourage them and remind them that their lives have value. Sometimes a person may leave without a food package, but they can leave knowing that someone cared enough to stop, listen, and speak to them with love.

This is why we believe that our work is bigger than food. Food can satisfy a hungry stomach for a moment, but love can touch the heart. A kind word can restore someone's hope. A prayer can remind someone that they are not forgotten. And the message of Jesus Christ can bring hope that lasts far beyond what we can provide with our hands.

We have learned that goodness is not measured only by how much we have to give, but also by how we treat people when we have nothing left to give. When our food runs out, our love should not run out. When the supplies are finished, our compassion should not be finished. We continue to see people as human beings created in the image of God.

Every person we encounter is an opportunity to make a difference. Some receive food. Others receive clothes, shoes, medical assistance, school support, or other practical help. But everyone can receive kindness. Everyone can be heard.

Everyone can be prayed for. Everyone can be reminded of the love of Christ. We are grateful to everyone who stands with JFM and makes this work possible. Your support does not only help us put food on tables; it enables us to reach people with dignity, compassion, prayer, and the hope of the Gospel. Together, we can continue showing goodness—not only to those we are able to bless materially, but to every person God places in our path.

JesusFedMe is about making a difference in people's lives. Sometimes that difference comes through a meal, sometimes through a helping hand, and sometimes through nothing more than a loving conversation. Whatever we have, we want to use it to honor God and bless people. Because when the food runs out, love remains.
