One night, God gave Bill Wegener a dream: start a ministry called Jesus Fed Me. The assignment was specific. Hire a Ugandan friend named Mathiew, and send him out with a box of food for someone living in poverty who had never asked for help and had no reason to expect it.
There was one more instruction, and it became the heart of the ministry. When the person receiving the food asked who had sent it, Mathiew was to say only, “I am just the delivery guy. Jesus sent it.” He was not to give the founder's name or the ministry's name. This delivery belonged to Jesus.
Imagine a parent wondering what the children will eat, and then someone arriving at the door with food for the family. Before a single meal is prepared, that box can bring a little relief and a reason to smile. Scripture gives that moment its lasting weight: “For I was an hungred, and ye gave me food.” (Matthew 25:35).
That dream became Jesus Fed Me's calling. Bill had a part to play, Mathiew had food to carry, and generous people made those deliveries possible. Every donor who gives today becomes part of that same act. They may never stand at the doorway or meet the family they helped feed, but their kindness reaches all the way there. A box of food, a willing heart, and a few words that give God the glory: “Jesus sent it.”
Jesus Fed Me focuses on two major things: feeding the physically and spiritually hungry in Uganda, and sharing the Gospel of Christ. The people it serves are the ones with the least margin: the elderly, the disabled, single mothers, and children without food, clothing, or a roof that holds.
Each food package is a doorway. It tells a family they are seen. As the "fishing for men" ministry puts it: "The Food is the Hook, the Gospel is the Food." God's love is more than words here; it is something that arrives at the door.
The work has expanded over time into medical care we started called Miracle Medical Center, school sponsorship, a children's school, a nursery, and regular visits to elderly people who would otherwise see no one at all.

Jesus Fed Me is a program of Kingdom Advance Global Ministries, Inc., a nonprofit corporation registered in the State of Texas. Bill Wegener founded it and runs it from the Dallas, Texas area, United States.
Mathiew Saba directs the fieldwork in Uganda and writes the majority of what you read on this site. Dr William Kirembwe runs Miracle Medical Center and reports from it. Ignatious Sseremba has a church and runs a school teaching young adults trades. Between the three of them, they have written more than half of this archive. Tom Kigozi is the director at Nazareth Children's School.
This is a small organization, run day to day by five people across two countries.
Bill founded Jesus Fed Me in 2021, after a dream gave him the ministry's assignment: send food to families in Uganda in Jesus' name, not his own.
He handles the United States side: the giving, the donors, the correspondence. He answers his own email.
Mathiew runs the deliveries and writes most of what is published here. When a report says the team sat with a widow in Nakagga and prayed before handing over the food, Mathiew is the one who was sitting there.
Bill's summary of him is short: Mathiew does a fantastic job ministering to these people, and we are willing to do what it takes to make that happen.
Dr Kirembwe oversees Miracle Medical Center: its operations, its quality assurance, and its surgical, medical, and maternity services. He trained at Nakaseke International College and the Kampala Institute of Science and Technology, and speaks Luganda and English.
He grew up sleeping on a dirt floor with one meal a day. He is a foster parent to seven children. He writes the clinic's reports himself.
Ignatious was born on February 26, 1997, and raised in Uganda. With the support and sponsorship of Bill Wegener, he attended Church on the Rock Primary School, CTR Senior Secondary School, and Nakaseke International College, then trained as a nurse at the International Institute of Health Sciences.
He also holds a diploma in theology from Africa Renewal University. He now serves as CEO of IGGYLO Farm, an agro-processing farm, and as Director of Mashariki Children's Home under Jesus Fed Me.

Mark Brian Kimera (Mark B K) is a missionary and evangelist serving in Uganda, Burundi, Kenya, Tanzania, and Rwanda, carrying the Gospel of Jesus Christ and sharing the hope, love, and salvation found in Him.
His heart is to reach people and communities with Christ's message, especially those who are struggling, forgotten, or living without hope. Through seminars, conferences, church gatherings, and evangelistic outreaches, he teaches and encourages people—especially the youth—to remain faithful to Jesus Christ, even when life becomes difficult.
Mark also serves vulnerable children by helping some return to school and providing scholastic materials, food, clothing, and other basic needs.
He reaches out to elderly people who are struggling to survive and helps provide food and care. His ministry also supports communities that need clean, safe water.
This is more than a ministry—it is a calling to serve, love, restore hope, and bring people closer to Jesus Christ. “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” — Mark 16:15
Everyone above works inside one cluster north of Kampala, a short drive from each other and from the capital.
