Bibles and Gospel Tracts

Scripture in the language a person actually reads, and tracts printed locally when Bibles run short.

54 field reports

Every food gift carries Scripture with it: an adult Bible for the older members of a household and a children's Bible for the family. They come in two languages, English and Luganda because a Bible someone cannot read is a gift in name only.

Bibles in Uganda cost about $10 each, which means only one or two can go out at a time. So Jesus Fed Me prints its own gospel tracts to reach the rest. Same message, at a cost that scales to a whole village.

Languages: English and Luganda
Cost of one Bible in Uganda: About $10
Tracts: Written and printed locally, given to every family member by age
