Food Gifts

A complete gift of food and Scripture, delivered to one named family at a time and reported the same week.

This is the work almost every report on this site describes. The team travels to a household, sits with the family, prays with them, hands over the food, and leaves a Bible or a Gospel Tract behind. Then they write down what happened and who it happened to.

The food is rice, beans, watermelon, and sugar, in quantities meant to feed a household for a stretch, chosen because people here already know how to cook it. Sweets (snacks with a little toy) go in for the children.

Jesus Fed Me puts it this way: like fishers of men, the Food is the Hook, the Gospel is the Food.
