A Story of Hope, Love, and a New Beginning

Fees, uniforms, and supplies: the things that decide whether a child stays in class.
In Uganda, a child usually does not leave school because the family has stopped caring. They leave because school fees are due and the family cannot pay, or because their uniform has worn out and the family cannot afford to replace it.
Rather than sponsoring individual children, we provide funds to cover shortages wherever the need is greatest. Individual sponsorship may help one child attend school while many others receive nothing. Our approach lets schools use the support fairly, helping as many children as possible stay in the classroom.
