JFM Transforming Lives
JFM has truly been so transforming in the lives of many poor Ugandans. Through our daily outreach, we continue to witness how the love of Jesus Christ brings hope to people facing poverty, loneliness, and difficult circumstances. Our mission goes beyond providing food and basic necessities; we desire to touch hearts, restore hope, and introduce people to the Saviour who can transform their lives forever. Every home we visit presents an opportunity to share God's love and remind someone that they are not forgotten. Door-to-door evangelism stands out as one of the most meaningful ways to reach people with the Gospel. It allows us to go beyond the streets and enter people's communities, listen to their stories, and understand the realities they face every day. We do not simply visit homes to preach and leave. We take time to listen to people's cries, understand their emotions, feel their pain, and put ourselves in their shoes. Sometimes, a person needs more than a sermon; they need someone willing to listen, care, and pray with them. As the JFM team moves from one home to another, we are reminded that every person carries a story. Behind some closed doors are families struggling to find food, elderly people battling loneliness, and individuals searching for peace and meaning in life. We approach them with compassion, treating everyone with dignity and respect. We believe that when people experience genuine love, they become more willing to listen to the message of Jesus Christ. Our desire is to demonstrate the Gospel through our actions and proclaim it through our words. This week, our hearts are filled with gratitude to God for the precious souls who received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour through our outreach. We glorify the Lord for the salvation of Narwadda, aged 70; Simon, aged 29; and Sharifah, aged 54. Three individuals at different stages of life, each with a unique story, were reached with the message of God's saving grace. To us, these are not merely numbers in a weekly report. They are precious lives, and we rejoice over every opportunity to share the hope of eternal life with someone. Narwadda, at 70 years of age, reminds us that it is never too late to encounter the transforming love of God. Simon, aged 29, represents another life reached with the Gospel and another opportunity to grow in faith and walk with Christ. Their decisions encourage us to keep going, even when the work feels difficult. We may never fully understand the impact of a single conversation, a heartfelt prayer, or a simple act of kindness, but God can use these moments to plant seeds of faith that bear fruit for eternity. One of the most touching parts of this outreach was Sharifah's story. At 54, Sharifah came from a Muslim background, yet she was willing to listen as the JFM team shared the love of Jesus Christ with her. Rather than approaching her with hostility or condemnation, we approached her with love, kindness, and respect. She appreciated our approach and accepted Jesus Christ as her Saviour. Her story reminds us of the importance of sharing the Gospel with compassion, allowing people to hear the message of Christ while treating them with the dignity every human being deserves. At JFM, we believe that genuine evangelism requires more than speaking; it requires a heart that is willing to serve. We listen, we empathise, we pray, and we trust the Holy Spirit to work in people's hearts. We understand that every person has the freedom to respond to the Gospel, and our responsibility is to share the truth of Jesus faithfully and lovingly. Whether we are visiting a poor family, encouraging an elderly person, or praying with someone facing uncertainty, our prayer is that every encounter will reveal something of Christ's compassion and grace. Today, we give all the glory to God for Narwadda, Simon, and Sharifah. We thank everyone who stands with JFM in this mission of feeding the hungry, sharing the Gospel, and bringing hope to vulnerable communities across Uganda. Every prayer, every act of generosity, and every step taken in the field helps make this work possible. We shall continue going from door to door, reaching one home at a time and sharing the greatest gift of all: the love of Jesus Christ. Our mission is not simply to reach more homes, but to see more hearts encounter Jesus. To God alone be all the glory!
