Greetings, beloved,
I hope this message finds you well and filled with joy. I am grateful for the opportunity to connect with you again and share some exciting updates from our recent endeavors.
As we conclude last week’s semester, I sincerely thank you for your unwavering support and love throughout the years. Your dedication has been crucial to our mission and has enabled us to continue making a significant impact.
Currently, we are embarking on an initiative to enroll seven students in vocational training programs. These male and female students have faced challenges in traditional schooling due to their late start and the disparities in their ages compared to their classmates. By introducing them to practical skills training in fields such as plumbing, motor vehicle engineering, pastry and bakery, bricklaying, phone repair, and tailoring, we believe these youths will gain the capacity to either start their own businesses or secure employment. This approach not only fast-tracks their professional development but also addresses their need to support their families.
Each child per semester costs 900,000 UGX, making a total of 6,300,000 UGX for all seven. This investment equips them with immediate opportunities and is a cost-effective alternative compared to traditional schooling, potentially saving funds that would have been spent over the next 16 years.
We are poised to begin this program with the May – June intake, which promises to be a transformative period for these young individuals. I am excited about the potential of this program to cultivate men and women of virtue who are equipped to thrive and contribute positively to their communities.
Thank you sincerely for taking the time to consider this update. I look forward to your continued partnership and support. May the Lord bless you abundantly!
Warm regards, Ignatious, Director of Mashariki
