Planting Smiles on People Is Our Priority

Today, JFM visited a family of eight people with food relief, including rice, two sacks of posho, and macrons; other items included soap, salt, cooking oil, Bibles, and sanitary pads. Mrs. Tereza lives with seven grandchildren under one roof; we found them together, but the untold story is behind those smiles. Behind those smiles lies so much suffering, misery, and poverty. Yet, JFM is gentle, kind and never says "NO" to anyone who needs help.

Mrs. Tereza's husband was arrested seven years ago, and since then, food and other basic needs have gone away. "I have been working in a flower factory, but chemicals used to spray flowers could make my skin grow pimples. So I decided to quit for the safety of my life; I tried other jobs, but due to Coronavirus, I was cut off, and things were not fine."

JFM's goal is to make sure such people get food support, hope, and feel that they are loved. It's the love that Jesus had for us that he died for us in the same way we use love to help others. So let's put love into practice to help others in need.

With an initial fund of $33, families can get weekly food relief, including a Bible for kids and a Bible for elders. In addition, if we find a teenage girl in the family, we provide them with sanitary pads which help them during their reproductive phase.
