MMC is Minimizing Malaria Locally

Two Miracle Medical Center staff in white coats hold a mosquito net package in front of the center's sign.

MMC distributed Mosquito Nets:

40 to local single moms and 35 to those who delivered babies at MMC.
All at ZERO cost to help prevent Malaria.

Prevent malaria by protecting people from mosquito bites, especially at night when malaria-carrying mosquitoes are most active.

Reduce the spread of mosquito-borne diseases, including dengue fever, yellow fever, chikungunya, and lymphatic filariasis, in endemic areas.

Protect vulnerable groups, including pregnant women, infants, young children, and older adults, who are at higher risk of severe illness. Improve sleep quality by preventing mosquito bites and the irritation they cause.

Reduce healthcare costs by preventing illnesses that require medical treatment and hospitalization.

Provide a safe, cost-effective prevention method, especially when using long-lasting insecticide-treated nets (LLINs), which both repel and kill mosquitoes.

Support community health because widespread use of insecticide-treated nets can reduce the overall mosquito population and lower disease transmission.
