The Effects of Poverty

Issues like illness and poor sanitation are all causes and effects of poverty. That is to say, not having food means being poor, but being poor also often means not being able to afford food or clean water and basic necessities of life.

Poverty has affected children so much, and it has been increasing to the extent that children cannot change their circumstances. Some children at the age of 10 are enrolled in child labor to support their families.

Children from poor backgrounds lag at all stages of education; by the age of three, more destitute children are estimated to be nine months behind children from wealthier backgrounds. It is explained that poor people have more stressful lives due to financial burdens and worries, making them more likely to experience family troubles.

Thanks to JFM, which treats the poor as the rich, giving them hope that someone is caring.

In the distressing scenario of children found at home without food, the compassionate intervention of organizations like Jesusfedme offers a lifeline. These vulnerable youngsters, often living in dire circumstances, are given a chance to alleviate their hunger and find solace in a warm meal. Jesusfedme's dedicated efforts provide not only nourishment but also a glimpse of hope, reminding us of the profound impact a simple act of kindness can have on young lives in need.
