A Moslem since Birth, Born again at 68

At Nkoge village, amidst the humble surroundings and the rustle of cassava leaves, we met 68-year-old Asiya Amida. Her life, steeped in decades of resilience and simplicity, unfolded in a small, mud-walled kitchen where she painstakingly peeled local cassava—a routine she knew too well. Having been a Muslim since childhood, Asiya’s life had been defined by traditions and self-reliance. Yet, despite her community roots, she had never once received aid or compassion from those within her faith.
