Don't Let the Left Hand...

In the Sermon on the Mount, JESUS said, "But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you" (Matthew 6:3-4). But should this be taken literally? That’s a fair question.

Some might wonder why we take pictures after delivering food if JESUS instructed us to give secretly. The answer is simple: our goal isn’t to draw attention to ourselves but to provide accountability to those who support this ministry. We take a few photos, not to say, "Look what we did," but to show our donors that their generosity is making a real difference. Since the beginning, we have delivered food almost daily, and every single time, the recipient is surprised and blessed.

We don’t share our names or promote JesusFedMe, the ministry in these moments. We’re just the delivery team. Instead, we make it clear that the gift comes from JESUS and that HE loves them. The recipient doesn’t know who gave the food—only that JESUS sent it. This way, we believe we are honoring JESUS’ words: "Do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing."
