BILL HOLDING BOOKS
Mama Bill is a poor lady living in a small, humble home with her three children. She has been afflicted with a mysterious disease that primarily affects her skin, especially her hands, leaving her in constant discomfort and unable to work effectively. Despite her struggles, Mama Bill shows remarkable resilience and determination to care for her children. Her eldest, a 17-year-old, is unable to attend school, while her second-born is in primary two, and her youngest, Bill, has just started school this year. Life for Mama Bill is a daily battle, but she carries on with quiet strength.
It is evident that Mama Bill has faced significant challenges, including losing her husband. Now a widow, she bears the full responsibility of raising her children in a harsh environment. Her eldest child often helps with household chores, but the burden is overwhelming for a family with few resources. Mama Bill’s health condition adds to the difficulty, making it nearly impossible to provide for her family adequately. Yet, she remains hopeful, leaning on her faith for strength.
When JesusFedMe (JFM) learned about Mama Bill’s situation, we stepped in with compassion and practical support. We shared the gospel with her true to our mission of putting Jesus first. Mama Bill confessed Jesus as her Savior, finding renewed hope and purpose in her faith. This spiritual transformation marked a turning point in her life, as she began to trust God to provide for her family in ways she could not.
JFM also provided essential school supplies for her two school-going children, including books, pens, and pencils. This small yet significant gesture was a lifeline for the struggling family, allowing the children to continue their education. Mama Bill was deeply moved by the kindness and support she received, seeing it as an answer to her prayers. She glorified God, knowing that He had used JFM to lift a heavy burden off her shoulders.
