ESTHER
Esther is a young girl who has known hardship from an early age. Born into poverty and unable to hear, she has lived in a world of silence, often struggling to communicate with those around her. Despite her challenges, her bright eyes and gentle smile revealed a heart full of hope. When JesusFedMe met Esther this week, she immediately touched our hearts. Her innocence and quiet strength spoke louder than words ever could.
Seeing her great need, we blessed her with new clothes and shoes. The joy on her face was unmistakable as she ran her hands over the soft fabric, feeling the love that had been given to her. Along with the clothing, we shared a special kids’ booklet with colorful pictures and simple Bible stories, hoping that she could understand God’s love through the images even without hearing.
To brighten her day even more, we gave her some small but meaningful snacks. She clutched them with excitement, her gratitude shining through her expression. Though she could not speak words of thanks, her joyful reaction said it all. In that moment, we were reminded that kindness and love transcend all barriers, even the inability to hear.
Meeting Esther was a powerful experience for all of us. She is one of many in need, yet her story stands as a testament to the impact of compassion. JesusFedMe continues to reach out to the needy, not only providing for their physical needs but also sharing the love of Christ in every way possible. We pray that one day, Esther will come to know the depth of God’s love for her, a love that speaks even in silence.
