1 Million Children Left Behind Every Year
A recent study reveals a heartbreaking reality: every year, over 1 million children in Uganda are unable to attend school because they lack basic educational materials. These children miss out on the opportunity to learn, grow, and break free from the cycle of poverty, not because they lack potential, but because they lack books, pencils, uniforms, and other essentials.
The situation is urgent. Without intervention, this cycle repeats year after year, leaving generations of children without the tools they need to succeed. As JesusFedMe (JFM), we cannot stand by and watch these children fall through the cracks. Even though we have limited funds, we do what we can to help as many as possible.
JFM is taking action to ensure that these children are not forgotten. Alongside our mission to feed the hungry and share the gospel, we are committed to equipping children with the materials they need to attend school. By providing essentials like notebooks, pens, and uniforms, we are giving children the chance to reclaim their education and their future.
Each year, as millions of children are left behind, JFM steps in promptly to bring hope. Through our efforts, children not only receive the tools for education but also hear the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. Families are uplifted, and entire communities begin to see transformation as children return to school and gain the confidence to dream big.
This work is urgent, and the need is vast. But with the support of compassionate individuals and partners, JFM is making a difference—one child, one family, and one community at a time. Together, we can ensure that no child is left behind, year after year.
Some stay home just moving into the villages, while others care for animals and develop vices like stealing. Every child has a right to education.
